Joyful Celebrations - Red River Chorale

On Tuesday evening, March 14, 2017, the Red River Chorale will present "Joyful Celebrations," the third concert of its eleventh season, at 7:30 P.M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Alexandria.  The concert features classical music composed by great masters for grand celebrations, such as coronations and joyful religious celebrations.  The Chorale will perform two of George Frideric Handel's "Coronation Anthems," composed for the coronation of King George II in 1727.
