City Park Players’ 2019 Summer Theatre Workshop-for Kids will be held July 15 - 26 from 1 - 5 pm daily at the Kress Theatre in downtown Alexandria.  This theatre camp, directed by Tina Smith, will offer an introduction to theatre for young children entering grades K-7 for only $100 per child.  Students will develop acting skills through theatre games, music, and activities while auditioning, rehearsing, acting and singing.  The two-week long camp will end with a short performance on Friday, July 26 on Hearn Stage at Kress Theatre.  As an added bonus, any Girl Scouts who attend this camp will receive a ... read more
