 The 23rd annual Jazz on the River, presented by Arna Bontemps African American Museum, will be held Saturday, April 15 beginning at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Alexandria Amphitheatre and feature Michael Ward, Bobby Rhodes and the Ministry of Jazz, Snazz, and the Bontempian Big Band.Tables of 10 are available for purchase. General admission is free. No hard ice chests allowed. Food and drink vendors will be on site. Sponsored by the Arna Bontemps African American Museum, Greater Alexandria Economic Development Authority, JWBP Broadcasting, Holiday Inn Downtown Alexandria, and the Alexandria/Pineville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.
