Jack Kerouac, known by those who loved him as "t'Jean", is an American literary legend, known for his stream-of-conciousness prose, his poetry, and the "American Haiku". He died on October 21, 1969.

Join us to celebrate his life and legacy, through sharing your own poetry, his poetry, or the poetry of anyone else. Sing a song, play an instrument, tell about the poets and writers who have inspirted you, or just show up to listen. The evening will also include spontaneous haiku writing and reading, so come prepared to have a little fun with words.

If you have some Jazz records, bring them too!
