Join us for our popular museum tour series featuring an unorthodox approach visiting an art museum! 

June's tour is guided by veteran and motivational speaker, Lonnie BAM! Bridges. 

Lonnie R. Bridges, Sr. is the CEO of Bridges Adaptive Management! LLC "BAM!" and served as the Workforce Training & Development Director for The Pierite Group, LLC. He was previously
employed in the Casino and Hospitality Industry for 18 years. He served as the Vice President of Organizational & Executive Development for Paragon Casino Resort owned and operated by the
Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana. His duties included the development and implementation of quality and continuous improvement processes; oversaw the Training Staff, and further developed
the supervisory and leadership skills of entry, mid-level and senior management employees. He was responsible for the implementation of a Tribal and property Executive Development Plan to enhance
continuity and transitions within the business enterprise.

Lonnie has eight years of military experience (US Marines Infantry) providing extensive development of leadership skills, traits, and characteristics. He has received honors to include accelerated promotion, Meritorious Mass Award, Combat Action Ribbon, and Kuwait Liberation Medal for active front-line involvement in The Persian Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm / Shield). He is a Honor Graduate of Avoyelles High School Moreauville, La.; and has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors in Electronics Engineering from Southern University A&M College, among other degrees and certificatoins.

Lonnie is married and has four children. His wife is Cynthia and their children are sons Lonnie Jr., Tyzn, Zylon, and Zavier. He is currently a member of the Louisiana Association of Compulsive Gambling Board of Directors serving in the Executive position of Secretary, Avoyelles Parish Community & Youth Coalition (ACYC), Louisiana Technical College Advisory Board, and Avoyelles Community College Committee. He also served as Chairman of the Board for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Avoyelles (startup), District Chairman for the Boy Scouts of America, Soaring Eagle District (5 Parishes). His other affiliations include Society for Human Resource Management; Southern University Alumni Federation Hall of Fame; American Society for Quality Control; Tau Alpha Pi and Alpha Chi Engineering Honors Society; The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE); F&AM. 

Lonnie’s hobbies include: Motorcycle Cruising, Home Remodeling, Time with Family, and Hand/Weapon Combat Training. His future goals are to become a Senior Executive and Entrepreneur venturing in Motivational Speaking and Consulting. Lonnie is also the author of the book “The Art of Leadership! – Put Me In The Game Coach!”
Lonnie’s creeds are: • “Leadership by Example!” • “Lead, Follow, Or Get Out of The Way!” • “If You Are Not Part of The Solution...You Are Part of The Problem!”
