LSUA Student Art Exhibition Opening Reception

Start Date:
November 02, 2018
End Date:
November 02, 2018
Alexandria Museum of Art
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
In order to deepen our connection with Louisiana State University of Alexandria students, the Alexandria Museum of Art has partnered with the art department at the university to exhibit work created by students this year. Featuring work from those taking an art class at the university or participating in the LSUA Art League, this exhibition highlights work by emerging artists in Central Louisiana.

Some works in this exhibition were created as part of a course for either Beginning Design, Painting, or Photography class at LSUA. Others were created separate from coursework by students in the art league, working from their own inspirations.

In addition to displaying work by students at varying points in their studies as well as those from a variety of majors, we are highlighting graduating seniors for this exhibition as well. One section of this exhibition is devoted exclusively showcasing the talent of work by seniors at LSUA.
